Rupert: An online portrait drawing session

In this weeks portrait session, tutor Luca Indraccolo will be working from a rim-lit image of model Rupert, where you’ll learn to control value and edges to create dramatic lighting on black paper. Materials used: Polychromos coloured pencils (black, white, and three cold greys) on black A4 paper, Staedtler Mars Plastic eraser, Tombow Mono Zero erasers.
