Naomi: An online figure drawing session

For this week’s 1-hour figure session, Luca works from a standing pose by model Naomi, focusing on a flowing dress and mixing skin tones with coloured pencils. The session looks at using the blue toned paper to keep shadows cool, while building warmer skin tones and using directional marks to capture the folds and movement of the fabric.
Materials used: blue toned paper, white, sanguine, brown, yellow ochre, and black coloured pencils.
