The focus is on balancing warm and cool tones, layering colour to build subtle halftones and lights while keeping the portrait simple and controlled.
Materials used: Pastel pencils on brown toned paper. Lizet uses white, beige red, earth or chrome green and Van Dyke brown by Faber Castell, plus willow charcoal for the drawing.
