Maria C: An online figure drawing session

Lydia Cecil

For this week’s 1-hour figure session, Lydia works through four 15-minute poses with model Maria, focusing on establishing light impressions and gesture using only the lights. Working on grey toned paper, the session explores how simple shapes of light can suggest form, movement, and structure without relying on shadow or outline. Materials used: chalk and grey toned paper.
