You&rsquo;ll start by blocking in the pose with simple shapes before building the figure from the ground up, paying close attention to the twist of the torso, overlaps, and the body&rsquo;s relationship to the floor.
The session explores how weight is communicated through the pose, using line, value, and cast shadows to reinforce balance and form. Luca also demonstrates a simple approach to constructing the head, hands, and feet, while keeping highlights subtle and the drawing fresh with careful pencil control.
