Join Lizet for a 1- hour portrait drawing session with model David W, focusing on constructing and shading a bearded head from a slightly lifted angle. You&rsquo;ll begin with a simple block in, placing the main structure and key landmarks before building the features through clear shapes and forms. The drawing develops through soft tonal work, using the midtone paper to help both lights and shadows sit naturally. You&rsquo;ll look at how light moves across the face and hair, keeping edges varied and natural while gradually introducing texture. The session finishes with a few carefully placed highlights and accents to bring focus and life into the portrait.
