Join Lizet for this month’s FREE 1-hour portrait session with model Callie, focusing on values, edges and clean construction in a three-quarter view. Build the portrait from simple light and shadow shapes, developing halftones and soft edges before adding final details and accents. Materials used: Compressed charcoal, dark graphite pencils (6B or softer, plus HB), fine clutch/mechanical pencil, cream-toned or white paper, blending stump or pastel sponge, putty rubber, precision eraser.
