Mark Chen Wins the Raw Umber Studios Prize for Portraiture at the British Art Prize 2026

We headed up to London last night for the British Art Prize awards at the Oxo Gallery, where we had the pleasure of presenting this year’s Raw Umber Studios Prize for Portraiture.

This year’s winner was Mark Chen, with his painting The New Miao Tribe Girl. We were delighted to meet Mark and for Lizet to present him with the prize in person!

It was a lovely evening celebrating this year’s British Art Prize and seeing all of the finalists’ work on display.
