We’re incredibly proud to share that our wonderful tutor Lizet Dingemans has work in this year’s Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Portrait Award at the National Portrait Gallery!

Lizet is a hugely talented artist and a much-loved part of Raw Umber. It’s wonderful to see her work recognised in such a prestigious exhibition, and we couldn’t be happier for her :)

She visited the show last week, met some really lovely artists, had a proper look around the exhibition, and was even interviewed. In her own words, it all felt “a bit surreal honestly, but in the best way.”

The Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Portrait Award is on at the National Portrait Gallery in London until Wednesday 7 October 2026, and entry is free.

If you’re in London, we’d love for you to go and see the exhibition , and while you’re there, don’t forget to vote for your favourite in the public prize! Our vote, of course, goes to Lizet :p
