Lorenzo: An online portrait drawing session

Lizet Dingemans

Join Lizet for this 1- hour portrait session with model Lorenzo, drawing a child’s portrait and looking at the differences in proportion and structure compared to an adult head. You’ll focus on rendering the softer, rounder forms of the face, paying particular attention to gentle shadows, smooth transitions and lots of edge softening to create a natural sense of light and form. Materials used: Willow charcoal, white and black pastel pencil on brown toned paper, blending tools, optional PanPastel Colourless Blender.
