Upcoming online sessions
We run regular, tutored online drawing sessions. They’re a great way to carve out a time to focus on your art each week. We run portrait drawing sessions every Sundays at 3 PM (UTC) and figure drawing on Wednesdays at 7 PM (UTC). A tutor joins us, does a demonstration and gives hints and tips. At the end of the session you can share your work with the group for feedback and we give you a link so you can download the photographs and continue working on your drawings.
Portrait sessions are free on the last Sunday of the month. Otherwise, sessions cost $6.50 each, or you can subscribe for only $12 a month. For a FREE taster session of your choosing, sign up below
“This is the best drawing instruction I’ve seen anywhere” – Miriam Danar
Wednesday 7 May, 2025 at 7 PM (UTC)
In this week's figure session, Luca Indraccolo draws a standing figure of model Ahzm, focusing on how to identify and develop the essential lines that give the pose its strength and clarity. Working with Fila Belle Arti Sanguine and Conté white pencils on midtone red-brown A4 paper, he explores how a limited palette and confident mark-making can bring structure and movement to a one-hour figure drawing.
This session will start in 14 hours, 46 minutes' time.
Sunday 11 May, 2025 at 3 PM (UTC)
In this special session, Lizet Dingemans turns her attention to animal portraiture, drawing Hank the dog with a warm and expressive touch. Using dark brown and white pastel pencils on brown paper, she compares human and canine anatomy, and explores how to capture texture, volume, and the unique character of her four-legged model.
This session will start in 4 days' time.
