Materials List - Painting with Acrylics
Surface:
- 16″ x 12″ canvas board
- Optional: Grey acrylic paint for the imprimatura
For the palette:
- Palette knife (this should be about 2 inches long and flexible)
- Paper towels
- A few jars to keep water and brushes in
- A grey glass palette or a grey tear off paper palette (grey palettes are easier to judge colours on than a white palette but any tear off palette is workable)
Brushes:
- Daler and Rowney Graduate brushes x 4 in size 6 (2 for the darks and 2 for the lights)
Paints:
- We recommend this kit from Golden Open (Golden Open have a slightly slower drying time compared to other acrylic paints)
