- Palette or here or here, depending on your budget
- Palette Knife
- Paints
- Grisaille Palette
- Temperature Palette
- Zorn Palette
- Ivory Black
- Titanium White
- Cadmium Red (or for a non-toxic paint, Bright Red)
- Transparent Yellow Oxide or Yellow Ochre
- Full Palette
- Titanium White
- Cadmium Red (or for a non-toxic paint, Bright Red)
- Cadmium Yellow (or for a non-toxic paint, Arylide Yellow)
- Transparent Yellow Oxide
- Alizarin Crimson
- Phthalo Blue
- Cobalt Teal (Cobalt Teal is pricey so could be swapped out as Phthalo Blue is already very strong)
- 2 x Size 1, Size 6 and Size 10 Long Flat Hog Brush
- 4 x Daler and Rowney Graduate brushes, size 6
- Sansodor
- Refined linseed oil
- Paper towels or a cloth
- Satin Gamvar varnish, for varnishing a few weeks later
