Upcoming online sessions
We run regular, tutored online drawing sessions. They’re a great way to carve out a time to focus on your art each week. We run portrait drawing sessions every Sundays at 4 PM (UK Time) and figure drawing on Wednesdays at 8 PM (UK Time). A tutor joins us, does a demonstration and gives hints and tips. At the end of the session you can share your work with the group for feedback and we give you a link so you can download the photographs and continue working on your drawings.
Portrait sessions are free on the last Sunday of the month. Otherwise, sessions cost $6.50 each, or you can subscribe for only $12 a month. For a FREE taster session of your choosing, sign up below

Wednesday 17 September, 2025 at 8 PM (UK time)
Join Lizet Dingemans this week as she draws a figure study of model Paul, guiding you through how to construct and understand the anatomy of the feet. Using Conté à Paris graphite pencils in HB and 4B on white paper (or regular pencils if you prefer), she shows how to break down complex forms into clear structures, teaching step by step how to balance proportion, shape, and detail.

Lizet Dingemans draws a portrait of model Amy J this week, showing how to study the planes of the face while also tackling the added challenge of glasses. Using Conté à Paris graphite pencils in HB and 4B on white paper, she explains how to divide the head into clear structural planes, teaching how to keep proportions accurate while layering in the details of the frames and lenses.
