Upcoming online sessions
We run regular, tutored online drawing sessions. They’re a great way to carve out a time to focus on your art each week. We run portrait drawing sessions every Sundays at 4 PM (UK Time) and figure drawing on Wednesdays at 8 PM (UK Time). A tutor joins us, does a demonstration and gives hints and tips. At the end of the session you can share your work with the group for feedback and we give you a link so you can download the photographs and continue working on your drawings.
Portrait sessions are free on the last Sunday of the month. Otherwise, sessions cost $6.50 each, or you can subscribe for only $12 a month. For a FREE taster session of your choosing, sign up below
“This is the best drawing instruction I’ve seen anywhere” – Miriam Danar
Sunday 19 October, 2025 at 4 PM (UK time)
Luca Indraccolo draws a portrait of model Nate, guiding you through how to capture the subtle shifts in value that define a bearded face. Using black, white, and three shades of grey Polychromos pencils on black A4 paper, he shows how to layer tones and build texture with precision, bringing richness and realism to your portrait. Along the way, he shares tips on controlling edges and highlights using a Mars plastic eraser, Faber-Castell pencil eraser, and Tombow Mono Zero eraser.
This session will start in 3 days' time.
Wednesday 22 October, 2025 at 8 PM (UK time)
Join Lydia Cecil as she draws a one-hour figure of model Lucia, exploring the many ways line can be used to describe movement, weight, and form. Using a soft pencil on paper, she guides you through how to vary pressure, direction, and rhythm to create a drawing that feels both structured and expressive.
This session will start in 6 days' time.
