Raw Umber Studios: In Real Life Exhibition

Exhibition
Taking place in the new Raw Umber Studios in Stroud, Raw Umber Studios: In Real Life is a free exhibition that brings together and showcases artwork created by online students and tutors from our virtual classes.
“At the start of the first lockdown, we switched our focus to running weekly online sessions,” Head Tutor Lizet Dingemans explains.
“Over the past year we’ve run well over a hundred online classes and have reached thousands of people who otherwise might not have been able to draw and paint.
“We are running this exhibition to showcase and celebrate the work that our students, and tutors, have done over the past 15 months and put Stroud on the map as a hub for figurative art.”
As part of this exhibition, we are delighted to invite you to take part in a free drop-in portrait life drawing class with a live model and Raw Umber Studios' very own tutor Lizet Dingemans. The class will take part on Mon 26 July between 2-6pm. We will provide easels, boards, charcoal and paper. You are also welcome to bring your own materials!
